Dr. Thomas Garrott began his practice of Dermatology on the Gulf Coast in 1974.  He is board-certified in dermatology by The American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of The American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Garrott specializes in general dermatology which includes skin cancers, acne, warts, psoriasis, eczema, rashes, and moles. He graduated from The University of Mississippi Medical Center and received his dermatology training at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center. After serving eight years on active duty with the USAF as a Flight Surgeon and Dermatologist, he opened his private practice.                         

Alan Crawford, PA-C is a native of Mississippi who trained at the LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport Louisiana. Alan received his Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies with a focus in Dermatology from the University of Nebraska Physician AssistantProgram.  Alan is certified as a Physician Assistant by theNational Commission on Accreditation of Physician Assistants.  He is licensed by the Mississippi State Board of Medical Licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant.  He is a graduate with advanced training in all aspects of Dermatology. PA's diagnose and treat a wide variety of patient complaints including skin cancer, warts, eczema, acne, rashes and moles.  PA's have prescriptive authority in Mississippi as well as 47 other states across the nation.  Alan is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and a fellow member of the Society of Dermatology PA's.  To find out more about Physician Assistants please visit the American Academy of Physician Assistants at AAPA.ORG

Marisa Shannon, NP-C received her undergraduate nursing degree at the University at Southern Mississippi in 1999.  She obtained her graduate nursing degree with an emphasis as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2004.  Marisa is licensed as an advanced practice registered nurse with the Mississippi Board of Nursing and certified with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She is a member of the National Academy of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners. She has over ten years of experience in primary care, cardiology, dermatology, and medical aesthetics. She is experienced in treating acne, psoriasis, rashes, warts, and cosmetic dermatology.  Other areas of specialty include utilizing Botox, dermal fillers, and chemical peels for acne, sun damage, skin discoloration, and aging skin.
